Alastor Moodys' Flask
Alastor Moodys' Flask | Harry Potter Gadgets
Authentic life-size 1:1 scale replication in the real dimension and seen in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
The Polyjuice flask of Alastor Mad-Eye Moody represents a collectible item signed Noble Collection.
It measures about 16 cm in height.
The Polyjuice Flask is used to give one person the physical appearance of another for an hour. The name comes from the words' union "polymorphic" (i.e. able to change the shape) and "juice" (specifying that the potion is a liquid). The making of that potion is long and elaborated:
-Chrysopa flies
- Leeches
-Melting grass
-Centinodia, Powder Horn Bicorno
- Chopped skin of Girilacco
- A hair of the Person into whom one wishes to be transformed
The three cases in which the Polyjuice Potion is used:
When Harry, Ron, and Hermione prepared it in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets to take on the shape of three Slytherins so that they could enter their common room to find out if Draco Malfoy was truly the Salazar Slytherins' heir. It should be noted that Hermione shows her usual extreme preparation since this potion shouldn't be among the abilities of a second-year student, she used this potion in large quantities for an entire year (in the fourth book, in order to take the appearance of Alastor Moody). Draco forces his henchmen, Tiger and Goyle, to use the potion so that they gonna operate as secret agents in the sixth book. With their sorrow, the most effective camouflage for a clumsy male teenager is that of a petite preteen girl.
